1. Development Milestones

-          Feb 3^rd 1996: The company was established under the investment license no 1486/GP by Ministry of Planning and Investment with charter capital $ 40 million USD; investment capital: $90 million

-          Mar 29^th 1996: Groundbreaking ceremony for building the mill with capacity of 6.000 ton of sugar per day

-          Jan 20^th 1999: Inaugurated the mill and started the first crushing season.

-          Apr 26^th 2001: Permitted to use code EAN for product/service/location

-          Jan 23^rd 2002: Quality management system was recognized to meet ISO standard 9001:2000

-          Apr 15^th 2003: Reached the one million ton crush milestone per season.

-          Feb 3^rd 2004: Reached the record on producing 1.048 ton of sugar per day.

-          Feb 27^th 2004: Was licensed to raise crushing power to 9000 ton of cane per day.

-          Dec 5^th 2005: Completed the project on upgrading the mill’s power with 9000 ton of sugar per day.

-          Dec 15^th 2005: Launched the first sugar product of the crushing season 2005/2006 branded as Melli.

-          Jun 30^th 2008:  New enterprise registration into Tate & Lyle Sugar Ltd. Company

-          Jul 06^th 2010: Quality management system was upgraded and recognized to meet ISO standard 9001:2008

-          Apr 20^th 2011: Signing ceremony of share transfer from Tate &Lyle to TH Food Stock Company. 

-          May 17^th 2013: Ended the crushing season 12/13, after 15 years NAT&L produced over 1 million ton of sugar( 1.095.000 ton of sugar)

-          Dec 17^th 2013: Officially changed the company’s name into Nghe An Sugar Limited Liability Company as per the investment license no 271022000002 – Adjustment No 3 by Nghe An People Committee with its new  logo NASU and new brand as Natural Sugar.

2. Achievements

-          Certificate of merit by Prime Minister on 07/8/2014 for gaining high achievement in business and production also nation building and protection.

-          Certificate of merit by the Government for high achievement in business and production by the Government in year 1999-2000.

-          Banner awarded by the Government in 2005.

-          Certificate of merit by Province people committee for contribution to Nghe An social-economic development in the period 1996-2013

-          A lot of certificate of merit by Province people committee for high achievements in business and production, tax duties, security works, promoting education activities….

-          Certificate of “high quality Vietnamese agricultural products” by Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development in 2007

-          Certificate of merit by Ministry of Finance for well executing tax duties in 2001

-          Certificate of merit by Vietnam Social Insurance for well performing social insurance policy in 2012

-          Certificate of merit by Nghe An Social Insurance for well performing social insurance policy in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013.
